Hi! I’m Carol, born and raised in Brasília, the modernist capital of Brazil. Dreaming of seeing the Bauhaus building, in 2012 I received a letter from Germany and moved right next to it with a lovely and talented community from all over the world. Since 2018, I've called where Neukölln meets Kreuzberg in Berlin, home.

For the last 19 years I’ve focused on multi-channel above / below the fold brand, content, product and performance campaigns for digital & print, creative solutions for localization and user journey optimization with a marketing focus (acquisition, retention, conversion and everything in between), as well as corporate communication, event and POS branding, awareness and engagement social media concepts and editorial design. I’ve owned brand and creative guidelines and processes across multiple touchpoints and project scopes, overseeing in-house and external creative collaborations for global brands and corporate institutional contexts.

Fluent in hands-on creative work, project management and user-centered design, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and working fluency in German are my ways of communicating at work and in life.

GOAL : How can I find my next favourite story?

Redesign of branded content touchpoint to support title discovery, improve trial conversion, customer retention and increase title completion / credit usage for long content format and inactive users. 

  • Allignment on design priorities and needs for content & SEO KPIs within brand guidelines, shared timings and budget.
  • Redesign of main user journeys for home, article and author hub page through high fidelity mockups and protoyping.
  • Design of new audio sample modules, content cards, genre focused article carousels, title campaign assets, handover documentation and support on iteration and adaptions for development.

SOLUTION : Flexibility is gold.

The main goal was to develop a more flexible touchpoint for DE market needs, reflecting data driven insights, customer research and content expertise.
Focusing on SEO, CRM and content marketing goals for targeted communication, levereging the improvement in quality of articles, illustrations and catalague offer through curated in-depth articles, interviews and title suggestions / audio samples.

DREAM : The go-to source for all things audio content in Germany.

On a more granular design stage, scaling new flexible brand elements, UI modules and design system components to improve overall experience, reviewing navigation as well as introducing new campaign static assets, we set out to also elevate brand awareness, engaging new and seasoned customers with Audible as leading experts in audio entertainment in Germany. 

PROJECT LIFETIME : A quick win for a big need.

The project was a quick win to a larger experience challenge, supporting cross-channel immediate goals while the larger issue was in the works, a temporary space driving multiple user journeys, serving as a testing ground for our content and  SEO collaboration.
